ACN Went Green for Cabarrus County Habitat for Humanity

ACN, Inc., the world’s largest direct seller of telecommunications, energy and essential services for home and business – participated in the Cabarrus County Habitat for Humanity annual St. Patrick’s Day fundraiser at Great Wolf Lodge Concord, NC, on March 17, 2018.

ACN was among the sponsors for the St. Patrick’s Day Fundraiser. The gala schedule included raffles, a silent auction and a keynote address from Emmy Award Winning Concord, NC, native, Beth Troutman. ACN is a regular supporter of the Cabarrus County Habitat for Humanity and has been involved in various aspects with the charity for over 7 years. “Giving back is in our DNA,” said ACN Co-Founder Robert Stevanovski. “Concord is a community where we live, work and play! Being able to help families in the Cabarrus County community is important to us!”

The St. Patrick's Day Gala raised $44,000 through donations, raffles, and a silent auction. Cabarrus County Habitat for Humanity is currently working on its 150th house in the community. Nearly 900 people, including more than 450 children have benefited from Habitat Cabarrus’ work in the community. They have placed a strong focus on Neighborhood Revitalization to provide a better place for local families to live and grow.

About Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus County

Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus County is a nonprofit Christian housing ministry. Since our founding by local churches in 1989 Habitat Cabarrus has built 150 new houses, completed rehab work and, home repairs on 150 houses and has served 15 families in transitional housing. Over 1000 people, including more than 500 children have benefited from Habitat Cabarrus’ work in our community.

Habitat Cabarrus has also placed a strong focus on Neighborhood Revitalization to provide a better place for local families to live and grow.

Recent successes have been made possible through a focused effort on fiscal responsibility and the establishment of partnerships and collaborations in the county.
